Product detailed description
Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser designed the lightweight, mid-sized RockJumper™ knife to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and climbers. Based on the success of this popular model and feedback from its dedicated users, Sal went back to the drawing board and created the LeafJumper. The LeafJumper features the same ergonomic handle design as its cousin, including skeletonized stainless steel inserts, fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) grips, Bi-Directional Texturing, a four-position pocket clip, a fixed back lock mechanism, and an auto-close feature. Its VG-10 stainless steel blade also has a minimal ricasso (unbeveled full-thickness area closest to the handle) that offers maximum blade length. What sets the LeafJumper knife apart, however, is its leaf-shaped blade. It is full-cut, satin-finished and available in PlainEdge and SpyderEdge formats, and features a slightly raised blade profile that enhances and strengthens its tip, increasing its versatility for many applications.
